What to expect
Reach out online, by phone, or in person. Our care coordinators match you with the right therapist based on your needs, availability, and preferences — no referral required.
Brief intake forms, consent and standardised assessments completed before your first session so your therapist comes prepared to meet you where you are, rather than starting from zero.
A 45–60 minute comprehensive assessment with your therapist — exploring your history, current concerns, and what you want from therapy. Unhurried, non-judgmental, entirely at your pace.
No pressure: the first session is about understanding, not diagnosing. You are in control.
Together with your therapist, you set meaningful, achievable goals and agree on a personalised treatment approach. Your plan is built around your life, not a generic template.
Regular sessions using evidence-based approaches — CBT, EMDR, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy and more — tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Every intervention we use is backed by clinical research and adapted to your individual experience.
Regular reassessment of your symptoms, functioning, and goals — with treatment modifications made in real time. Therapy is a dynamic process, not a fixed script.
Therapy concludes with a structured relapse prevention plan — equipping you with the tools, strategies, and self-awareness to maintain your progress.
Not goodbye — maintenance check-ins and booster sessions remain available whenever you need them.

Frequently asked
Everything you need to know about dental wellness at Health Bloom, Bengaluru.
Think of it this way:
Psychiatrist
A medical doctor who specialises in mental health. They can diagnose and prescribe medication for conditions like severe depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia.
Psychologist
A trained mental health expert who talks with you to understand your mind and behaviour. They help you cope, heal, and grow.
Psychotherapist
A talking therapist trained in specific methods like EMDR or trauma therapy. They help you work through emotional pain, relationships, and past experiences through conversation.
Simple rule: If you think you need medication → Psychiatrist. If you want to talk through your feelings and build coping skills → Psychologist or Psychotherapist. Many people work with both.
Not sure? Don’t worry just book a consultation at Health Bloom and we’ll point you to exactly the right person.
Yes completely. All sessions at Health Bloom are fully confidential and HIPAA-compliant. Nothing you share is disclosed to anyone without your explicit written consent, except in very specific legal circumstances (imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or a court order). Your employer, family, or anyone else will never know you attended unless you tell them yourself.
You don’t need to know before you arrive. Our therapists conduct a thorough assessment in the first session and will recommend the most appropriate therapeutic approach based on your specific concerns, history, and goals. We use a range of evidence-based modalities CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic therapy, somatic experiencing, mindfulness-based approaches and tailor the combination to you.
This varies significantly by presenting concern and individual. Brief focused interventions (like CBT for a specific phobia) may take 6–12 sessions. Longer-term therapy for trauma, complex depression, or personality-related difficulties typically takes 3–12 months. Your therapist will give you a realistic timeline estimate after the initial assessment and the plan is always reviewed collaboratively with you.
Yes. Health Bloom provides mental wellness support for children, adolescents, and young adults including school-related anxiety, academic pressure, behavioural concerns, ADHD, autism spectrum support, family adjustment issues, and adolescent depression. Parents are involved collaboratively in younger children’s treatment. We use age-appropriate therapeutic approaches throughout.
That’s completely fine. Many people begin with a single consultation session to understand what therapy involves and whether it feels right for them. There is no obligation to continue beyond the first session. Some people find a short course of 3–4 sessions helpful for a specific concern without needing longer engagement. We meet you exactly where you are.
